Redline Flight Junior

The Redline Flight junior is designed like a Marines saber: for the few and the proud. The idea behind the Junior is that it is to be the dream off-road race bike for kids talented beyond their years, but the reality is that there are not that many out there.
However, if you are one of those who truly need this bike to exploit their hard-won talents, then the Flight Junior is a Glee Club full of good news. The best is that while certainly not cheap (retail runs around $650) you are going to get a lot of bang for the buck in all the right places.
The Flight Junior starts out as a light weight aluminum race frame with the more expensive forged stuff just where it is needed most: in the dropouts that bear most of the impact on landing. Otherwise, the flight line relies on excellent geometry and engineering for strength, which it has in abundance.
Bolt-ons are a dream list from the custom shop: R6 steerer and legs, aluminum ISIS cranks, sun Assault SL1 rims, Redline Aluminum Sealed Bearing w/Hollow Aluminum Axle and Race Skewer on the front, and Cassette Aluminum Sealed Bearing w/Hollow Chromo Axle in the rear.
If you are getting the idea that the Redline Flight Junior is designed to do just what its name implies, then you are right. Light-weight, fast and strong, this bike may be just the thing if you are one of the few talented enough to need wings like these.
