Eastern 9-Volt
This is not really a BMX for doing too many tricks with, it is geometrically lower to the ground making it a better bike for the younger generation and more of a beginners BMX.
It is characterized with a lower set frame and slightly offset design. It is a good bike but if you are looking to be out on the ramps, then you will be better with one of the higher end Eastern BMX bikes. Not to be put off though this is a great design if you want to grab a BMX for one of your children.
Specs – All the usual suspects are included on the bike from Eastern technical guys, you get the Eastern 10 degree sweeping handlebars, Eastern Skull grips, the Eastern easy install easy remove pinch bolts that are included with the heat-treated Cranks. The pedals are made from the Eastern Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic.
As with the brand the bicycle comes with the lifetime frame warranty and the lifetime upgrade policy on the alloy frame, and more features that include; 2 Eastern Bird Pegs, detangler, Tektro U braking systems, steel straight post with the Eastern Logo and a whole lot more.
Conclusion – A fantastic BMX to get to grips with flat riding before you take to any freestyle elements. This is not to say that tricks are not possible with this bike, there is a lot you can try out on the 9-Volt freestyle wise, but it is more suited to staying on the ground rather than 6 feet in the air at the top of a half-pipe.
