When the sequence arrived from Eastern a few years ago, the bike showed a heck of a lot of bottle on the slopes and as you would expect if a newer version arrived then it would be better. Well it did arrive, the 2009 Eastern Sequence is a proud looking BMX, forget the hefty price tags of other brands with similar specifications, this BMX is not just a bad boy it is a show piece.
It wont let you down especially if you have it built (put together) by the correct people. It is most definitely one for making Big Air and is just as good on the ground as it is at making the 360s from the competition ramp. Plus it is eye-catching which is a bit of a bonus!
Specs – The Eastern Sequence has a super light approximately 27lbs full 4130 Chromoly frame with its Eastern lifetime warranty and lifetime upgrade policy. Of course you need light weight handlebars so Eastern threw on a 2 piece Chromoly set, fitted up with the safe Tektro U brake system and lever. The Eastern Reinforced Plastic Pedals are mounted onto the virtually indestructible Eastern 3 piece Crank and Medusa Lite Chain Wheel.
You have got to be into the Bi-Rectional Hubs Easterns design technicians fitted out on a few of their models and the Sequence has them installed lovingly, these guys are amazing looking and do the job, being strong!
Conclusion – Who would have thought that black and pink would look ridiculously good on a BMX? This bike is outstanding; okay with a little professional tweak here and there you will have yourself an exceptional BMX under or above your body mass. Experienced riders – Go take a peek at one, before one sneaks up on you out at the competition!
