What we say: The Air fulfills its mission, giving riders a full complement of strong components for the price of a department store mountain bike. Riders will really appreciate the ACS mag wheels, which will take a lot more punishment than the spoked wheels on bikes in this price range. Braking is handled by two C-Star U-brakes instead of the typical rear coaster brake, pleasing parents with its shorter stopping distances and kids with its ability to do stoppies. Grind pegs are also included. Retro graphics round out the package, giving this trick bike the looks of an 80s BMX.
In conclusion: Whether your child wants to be the next Dave Mirra or just wants to make some "sweet jumps," the Air is a good way to start.
