GT Mach One Pro 24
Craving the performance and value of a Mach One Pro, but need the smoothness, comfort and stability of a larger 24” bike? Well fear not, for GT now offers the Mach One Pro 24, just the E-ticket ride for those of use whose legs are as long as our talent on the trail.
Utilizing a frame of the same geometry and material as the successful Mach One frame, the 24s varies only in the length of its down- and top-tubes to fit the larger 24” tires.
The 24s handlebars are a little shorter, to keep the overall handlebar height the same with the 2” taller tires, and the gearing of the crankset is a little steeper to give the rider increased torque for climbing. Given the fact riders of the Mach One Pro 24 will probably be a few pounds heavier than their Pro counterparts, this only stands to benefit the bikes overall trail viability.
Otherwise, all the standard Pros equipment carries over: A GT forged crank comes in 3 indestructible pieces, and drives Mohawk 36 hole aluminum shell hubs to spin those smooth aluminum rims. GT Wing design tires grab the ground with authority, and are sure to give those exuberant riders who wish to do so the means to scrape the clouds at will.
