GT Power Series Micro

Theres nothing small about the performance of the Power Series Micro. Sure, it stands about two inches shorter than the next smallest BMX, the Junior, but for good reason.
The Micro is GTs answer to consumer requests for a hardcore canyon carver in the mid-line product range. Costing the same as both the Expert and the Junior, and half as much as the top-line Box Ultra, the Micro is the condensation of a single mission at the expense of all else. Never mind comfort, this beast is the Hayabusa of the pedal-powered world.
Its spec sheet reads as nearly identical to the Junior (T-6061 aluminum frame, Tektro brakes, hardcore Alex wheels, small diameter hollow chromoly rear axle), but the specs dont tell the whole story. By replacing the Juniors 4.5” handlebars with 2.5” rise set and subtly tweaking a few other measurements, GT has made of the Jeep-like Pro bike a stupid fast and maneuverable rally-car. Though the grippy Kenda tires are ideally suited for off-road applications, one could easily envision the Micros rider screaming down a mountain road at hyper-legal velocities.
If you can imagine craning your neck back, face into the wind and whipping through a series of fast downhill switchbacks at full speed, then youre getting the idea. You dont ride the Power Series Micro; you fly it.
