Haro Expert
Bring the power and excitement home to your junior shredder with the Haro Expert. With all the race technology that Haro packs into its full-on adult race bikes, the Expert has been scaled down to a size suitable for adolescent and pre-adolescent groms.
As one might expect from the nameplate that invented the phrase “BMX,” the Expert comes standard with one of the strongest aluminum frames in the industry. Made of pure T-6061 aluminum alloy, the Experts frame is formed from the same processes used to produce connecting rods for Top Fuel engines. The top tube is stretched ¾ of an inch, and the handlebar comes with 3” greater rise for those larger frames. To support the additional weight of heavier riders during rough landings, and to better transfer power, Haro increases the diameter of the 3-piece chromoly crankset from 155mm to 170mm.
Carry-overs from the Junior include Intense Micro Knobby tires wrapped around Alienation ankle biter rims, a chromoly racing front fork, and alloy-shelled sealed rear bearings with rear flip-flop. SINZ Sticky grips keep sweaty palms from slipping to disaster.
Overall, the Haro Expert is a fantastic full-race bike for those aspiring shredders who neither fish nor foul; those who are too large for a junior, but are still a little undersized for a full-sized BMX bike.
