Haro F2

Ok, its time to get real. Youve spent your entire childhood on two wheels, and have already named your first born child "Grom." The old lady will just have to understand, especially when you tell her your prized BMX got run over by a guy in a Camry who was too busy eating his burrito to drive. What to do?
Well, if youre like that vast majority of those who have had to watch the one thing they love crushed by fate, then your first move may be to replace it with something better. With no shortage of virtues, the F1 may have seemed perfect, until you realize that for an extra $30, you can get something a little better.
That extra cash buys you new, stronger 48 hole rims (retail $11 a piece over the 38H rims, so theres most of your cost right there), a chromoly 3 piece crank set that can handle all the abuse you care to dish out, and a set of super-strong alloy pedals.
That last may not seem particularly significant, until youve gone through three sets of cracked resins and one unfortunate encounter with the frames top bar. All this extra strength, and the F2 still manages to come in at 8 ounces lighter than the F1. Go figure.
So, if its time to upgrade, then check out the F2. The factory upgrades are well worth the extra $30, all bolted to one of the best BMX bikes to ever grind a foot-peg.
