Haro Forum Counterpart Lite
If you are not a convert of the Haro BMX yet you will be when you try out the 2009 Haro Forum Counterpart Lite. This is not a yuppie BMX it is an absolutely astounding machine even at factory standard.
This bike is light as it says in the name. This is another freestyle BMX from its makers Haro, one for any level of rider but a great investment for Pro-Riders. It is more than just a smooth ride, no clicks, squeaks and pops and above all tough enough to take what you give it on the ramps.
Specs – The lightweight 21 inch TT double butted Chromoly Pro-Convert frame looks very smart in red, one of the color options. You get an extra quiet 175mm Sub-C 8 spline crank, and full Chromoly 1-1/8 inch forks which are threadless, micro adjust seatpost and a Haro slim saddle seat. The handle bars have the Odyssey team grips and have a handy 8 inch rise. Also a MID sealed bearing bottom bracket, 9T one piece drive sealed bearing cassette freewheel, and a straight cable detangler.
The Forum Counterpart Lite needed to be strong so you can push boundaries so Haro gave you a set of Alienation 36-hole rims with DW rear, and 36-hole alloy cassette hubs with Odyssey Aitken front and rear tires.
Conclusion – Fit a good pair of pegs onto the Haro Counterpart Lite and you are good to go. This bike is built to last, it has good quality stamped all over and is certainly a bike to show off at the park. You are sure to turn heads when you show up on this BMX as you would with the Forum Pro Lite.
There is no real need to modify the bike at all the specs are great for any level of rider, although a Pro will not be able to help him or herself and tweak it a little, but I’m sure they will all agree the factory standard bike is great either way.
