Haro Z20

Haro Z20

Light, strong and stable are three words that aptly describe the Haro Z20. For parents who may not recognize the significance of the magic 20-inch stand-over bike, its worth noting that this is the standard sized bike used in junior BMX racing.

The Haro Z20 is designed to be the middle-man series between your childs old Z16 starter bike and a full sized adult model. Appropriate for large pre-teens or smaller framed adolescents, this trail bike can easily see your child though all of their teenage years and then some. With the enormous variance of sizes apparent from child to child, its difficult to classify an age-group for a 20-incher, other than to say it will work for practically anyone old enough to complain about not having a car.

The Z20 is larger in all dimensions than the Z18, though at 26 lbs not significantly heavier. It does however come with upgraded standard features like larger hand-grips, 36-hole rims for greater weight-bearing and shock capacity, in case your little shredder should decide to hop a few curbs before wiping out. The Z20s higher gearing and Haro Catapult tires will all but guarantee that his friends will indeed witness some insane speed until said ill-fated curb jump teaches all attendant their first real lesson in applied physics. Oh well, they have to learn some time.
