Mongoose Brawler
The Mongoose Brawler simultaneously fulfills three goals. The designers clearly reached their objective of simplicity, durability and versatility. While many bikes have finesse, the Brawler was built to be heavy, rugged and tough.
Building such a durable bike requires a strong frame. The Cromo front triangle provides the rigid structure that a bike name Brawler requires. Perhaps the most durable addition to the Brawler is the 36 spoke front wheel and 48 spoke rear. Among the Mongoose line this is the lowest cost model to feature these heavy spoked wheels.
The Brawler does not include a rotor which is required for handle bar stunts. Despite lacking this as standard, the frame is easily customized with aftermarket parts. This ability to customize is perhaps the most desirable factor that sets Brawler apart from your average production model. While these parts are not included, they are generally inexpensive and highly specialized allowing extensive fine tuning to the riders needs.
Mongoose does an excellent job providing affordable quality bikes to the public and professional riders. Despite not having as many bells and whistles the Brawler is the affordable tank of the Mongoose line. Perfect for the beginner who is rough on gear and enjoys customization.
