Constructed around a Sanko butted seamless chromoly frame, chromoly fork and handlebars, the Mongoose Shield can absorb landings for years without any wear. Speed and acceleration are supplied by a three-piece tubular chromoly 175 mm cranks with a sealed Mid bottom bracket. A 25- tooth CNC alloy sprocket and KMC K510HX chain drive a nine-tooth cassette sealed aluminum rear hub with 14 mm chromoly hallow axle. Primo Comet tires, Tektro U type rear wheel brake, Primo binary pegs, and Alienation Black Sheep rims all add to the strength and adaptability of the Mongoose Shield. A Sanfu Astroglide cable detangler allows for the spinning of the bars.
