Mongoose Villain
Like just about every Mongoose BMX bike, the Villain is made with Chromoly tubing, Tektro brakes, and elaborate gears that go above and beyond what other manufactures are doing. Even the Mongoose BMX bikes from the eighties had that intangible quality that everybody wanted a piece of: its durability, sleek, and rugged look, as well as its unbelievable ability to perform made it the best BMX series out there.
So, currently the tradition continues with the 2008 Villain: This beauty is reminiscent of that Mongooses traditional style, yet it offers even a more light weight frame, extra thick tires, a completely original orange checkered design if wanted, which is just one of the few styles, and finally a comfortable, sturdy seat. This bike is perfect for freestyle, riding on a course, or just for fun in the back yard.
Countless testimonials find very little fault with the villain, and the prices seem affordable among those in its class. Most BMX bikes come in the same size frame, but the Mongoose has a frame as strong as steel and as light as air—well, not quite. In fact the back of the Villain is made with steel, and the rest is made of chromoly.
The Villain is perfect for freestyle, and yet it looks unassuming and not too flashy, but rides amazingly.
